Grated Carrot Fry

          One of the easiest,fastest,healthiest,tastiest..... curry to make..

Ingredients:

  1. Carrots
  2. Green chilies
  3. Coriander powder
  4. Salt
  5. Tumeric
  6. 1 tsp oil

Preparation method: 

  1. Add oil to the pan, make a slit to the chilies and add them in to the oil fry for a minute and add grated carrots.
  2. Add salt to taste and a tsp of coriander powder,little tumeric powder..stir well..the number of chilies depends on the amount of spiciness required. Stir for 2 minutes and its done..squeeze a lime as garnish..and its ready.. :-)

Crunchy..Crispy..Chicken 

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken
  2. Ginger Garlic paste
  3. Garam masala
  4. Pepper
  5. 1 lemon 
  6. Little curd
  7. All purpose flour or Maida
  8. Bread Crumbs

Preparation method:

  1. Marinate chicken by adding GG paste, garam masala,pepper,salt,tumeric,lemon juice,curd for 5 hrs to the max or atleast an hour to the minimum.
  2. Cook the chicken till its tender enough but dont cook for long cause it may get harder.
  3. Now prepare a batter by mixing all purpose flour,little salt and turmeric.Add chicken pieces to the batter and then coat each piece with bread crumbs and add to boiling oil for deep fry.
  4. Bread crumbs can be prepared in home by grinding bread toasts. Another tip while frying is use both hands..that is use one hand to take out the pieces of chicken from batter and another one to handle with bread crumbs.
  5. Fry till golden brown..and thats it..your crunchy..and crispy chicken..and it will be juicy too cause of marination..garnish with onion and lemon..enjoy.. :-)

Potato Raita..

                  Yes you read it right..its potato raita..i learnt this from a tv show..

Ingredients:

  1. Two large sized potatoes
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 5 chilies
  4. 5 Garlic cloves
  5. Little Bit of tamarind
  6. 2 tsp's cumin seeds
  7. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  8. 3 red chilies
  9. Few Curry leaves
  10. 2 tsp's oil

Preparation Method:

  1. Fry green chilies in a tsp of oil for a minute and take them out. Grind these chilies roughly once. Now add garlic cloves,tamarind,1tsp of cumin seeds and grind into smooth paste.
  2. Boil potatoes and cut them into cubes, add these potatoes and the above paste into curd and mix gently. Add salt to taste. 
  3. Now we need to prepare thadka, heat oil in pan and cumin seeds,mustard seeds,curry leaves,red chilies and fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add thadka to the curd mixture and mix gently. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and thats it, raita is ready :-).
